Of course it was oversubscribed: it was a good deal for those lucky enough to participate in it. But you and I - owners of the business, remember - weren't permitted to partake of that good deal.

That it was strongly oversubscribed is to me even more offensive because it highlights the value transfer from me to those lucky investors who were lucky/privileged enough to participate in the placement.

I'm afraid you're a bit of a sucker if you like value being transferred from you to some strangers.
