I'm afraid the only way anyone can be "cool" with value being transferred from them to some other parties is if they are lacking in financial literacy.

Not sure about you, but when the value of my investment is impaired due to the negligence of others, then I think that is a highly relevant issue.

Do you think none of "instos" that you seem to regard so highly will not be almost immediately turfing out the stock that they picked up at $1.60 (but which you were able to do), thereby making a quick 5% or 6% profit in the space of less than 48 hours?

And where did that value accrue to them? From you.
And yet you think that doesn't matter.
