The area was mined for a long, long time before a crash in Tin prices closed the industry there. Now with Electric Vehicles and New Technology utilising more and more Tin prices have remained strong and stockpiles at all time lows.
The Cornwall community are very excited to have a chance at returning mining to the area. It has been a pretty poor economic situation there since mining ceased. They want the jobs, they want the industry back, thus no complaints so far even with all the drilling last year. The mine is an underground operation anyway.
So who in Cornwall would go for it? Basically everyone.
