Revisiting this posting,... without S&P Rating:-
1) it will be more expensive for MYS to borrow in future.
1.5) MYS may not need to borrow too much anymore in future.
2) MYS may regard its financial position as being good enough to justify not wanting a rating from S&P.
3) MYS will save funds from not paying to S&P anymore.
4) credit rating svces may still be engaged with Moodys' and/or Fitch Ratings,... not sure,...
