Thanks for the information. That last bit sounds like a new piece of disappointing news.
I chased down the drill sections for holes #44, #50 and #84 below and compiled them over the top of each other in photoshop (also below, 4th image down).
A couple of things to note. Hole #47 (see 1st image below with blue annotations) which was targeting the down dip extension of the
[email protected]/t (including
[email protected]/t) drill intersection in hole #44 returned no significant assays (NSI) when it intersected the Twilight load chute ~35m down dip.
Also a hole (#70) or holes?? (there was more than one hole drilled, I think....see yellow circle below) drilled along strike between holes #50 and #84 didn't seem to hit wide sections of gold on this chute which seems to indicate that the chute pinches and swells down plunge. Also looking at these sections it seems that the areas of increased lode thickness are vertically confined by drilling to probably about 50m (if not much less, maybe ~20 to 30m).
You can still fit a lot of gold in a chute of these dimensions but if the company doesn't continue to hit the chute down dip or down plunge its value will also be confined.
If all the results of the last lot of drilling are soon to come out, we will soon know if that deeper down plunge hole carries any gold. If it does that will be good news as from the previous blue line I drew on that long section, it will have intersected the chute up-dip of the centre line of its thickest down plunge component, and so therefore the prospect of significantly extending the down plunge dimensions of the chute will be good with more drilling. If that deeper hole doesn't come good, it means more expensive poking around with a diamond drill or giving up on trying to extend in this direction IMO. Eshmun
