Hey Metal Duster . Don't look now but most of the product from your beloved Woolworths group that is on the shelf at Big W , Masters is crap imported from the same countries that Aldi imports their product from . Make no mistake , if Coles and Woolies can buy cheaper over seas they will . Apples, Avocados etc . If they can freeze it it can come from overseas . Don't Kidd yourself . What's the saying about throwing stones in glass houses .

What makes your claim of the great Aussie owned company being so patriotic is quickly dissolved as they bend over and screw local producers into oblivion . At least Aldi screw the backside off off shore suppliers first . I've seen it first hand and the fact that MG have either walked or been pushed and left a 108 million dollar hole in their sales revenue can't sit on the patriotic shelf you are suggesting . That will cost all those that have purchased and like their product in some way . Aldi might just be a profitable opportunity for local suppliers that are sick of the Aussie owned steam roller .

Same goes for the beloved Ford and Holden dealers now peddling US made vehicles, furniture from the likes of Harvey Norman , Domayne, Freedom Furniture buying garbage from China and the list goes on .
