well, i am sure there would need to be independent valuation of cashmere if brierly wanted to buy it - conflict of interest there. probably would need to put it to a vote.
in specie dist saves the need for all that.
always difficult to value an unlisted stock. best to wait for ipo.
actually, that would be the ideal time to sell the holding, maybe if Cashmere lists in the next 6 months our investment could be realised at that time.
