Lithium batteries have had a good run when it comes to grants in Australia, by now, it is pretty well known what they can do. Would ARENA stump up the cash for another one of the same?
Given that the main role of ARENA, is to support the renewable industry as a whole, perhaps it is the turn for something different when it comes to battery technology.
CCE and Sumitomo Electric, could together build a vanadium redox flow battery, thereby giving Australia more choice.
