The state government has shown how keen they are for this project to go ahead by putting aside $500,000 for a feasibility study. Providing it proves to be feasible, CCE are in the box seat.
"Carnegie Clean Energy chief executive Michael Ottaviano said no offtake negotiations had yet taken place but there was a substantial amount of latent demand to tap into.
“What we do know is there’s something like 40-50MW of unserviced demand currently in the eastern Goldfields,” he said."
