MPJ using the term "Thick Zone of Nickel Sulphide"
Note other nickel companies using the same termonology
Axiom Mining (AVQ) remains on track to deliver a JORC Resource at its Isabel Nickel Project in the Solomon Islands after drilling continued to return
thick zones of mineralisation.
- 15.5 metres at 1.66% nickel from surface including 10 metres at 2% nickel from 3 metres;
- 17 metres at 1.69% nickel from 1 metre including 12 metres at 1.96% nickel from 5 metres; and
- 19 metres at 1.62% nickel from surface including 14 metres at 1.89% nickel from 1 metre.
Isabel is considered to be one of the largest
nickel laterite deposits in the Pacific with a historic non-JORC Resource estimate of
159 million tonnes at 1.045% nickel and 0.07% cobalt.
MPJ does not need 7% nickel results, as above if you have a lot of nickel sulphides at 1-2% you have a mine.
I raise the point again - Did MPJ hold back information (waiting for true assay results) when they used the words THICK ZONES OF NICKEL SULPHIDES.
At .002 for oppies, its a cheap assumption
