Hard to say regarding rock type. Core photo is in bad orientation with sun, and it looks as though part of the tray has dried out.
At a guess, I'd say it looks like nothing but fairly boring basalt, with the ubiquitous goldfields greenstone overprint. Remember this is judged from a photo in an announcement...so caveat emptor.
And.. as always...DYOR. I'm just as dumb as the rest of them.
