Fair enough - I was just looking at the 2017 Prospectus for the float of Ausmex and on the first page they describe the document as:

"Eumarella Resources Limited - to be renamed Ausmex Mining Group Limited" and Matt Morgan is on the list of people as a proposed director - so just sloppy research on my part and a matter of semantics as to how much Matt Morgan had to do with EUM before it actually became AMG, not really relevant now anyway.

I guess Matt got sick of traipsing around the jungle in PNG!

When you refer to "the Department" with regard to Geoff Kidd - are you referring to the SA Dept of Mines? Hadn't realized that Geoff Kidd was "the Burra guy" in AMG, but not surprising really, someone had to be! Thanks for letting me know about the Hatch connection to Geoff Kidd - Hatch are pretty reputable and have lots of base and precious metal mining experience.

I agree with you about the senior management in AMG - I just think its interesting that they have all made the leap from the coal sector to more of a copper and gold focus, it would have been easier for them to launch a new Coalworks Mk2 (except for the diabolically bad sentiment around coal recently). Maybe they see a future in copper and gold?

Funnily enough - in the last few years despite all the predictions of battery minerals and Li Co Cu and Ni hype my own portfolio of boring "to be shortly extinct" coal stocks has outperformed nearly everything else I have in the way of gold, precious metals, base metals and other bulk commodities....go figure.
