Philippines is well known to be very gold rich and before Marcos time it was heavily mined by many overseas companies.. Civil uprising their changed all that and the amount of gold that Marcos stole from the Phillipine people is etched well in the minds of many older Filipinos. This is in Mindanao which is a well known province in the south for rebel fighting. Corruption is part of the landscape in Phillipines and anyone who believes this will be a straight deal to get to mining are oblivious to local realities there... you can bet things will find ways to be slowed down or halted if local powers are not obtaining some sort of leverage or benefit particular the closer it gets to revenue. Good luck to all holders.. you damn sure gonna need it to see this project through. I am still hopeful they find something a little more close to home.. watching from the sidelines..
