It's now about MRQ finding a decent resource with good numbers and good metallurgy.
I write on all the sand miners, here's some information to ponder that I put up this week.
From the MZI AGM yesterday
Base AGM notes today, confirming above statement from MZI (on pricing). Base is in the Top 5 producers (Kenya) marked in the first illustration.
The lull in 2013-2017 pricing was due to the fact that many projects came online.
The strong guidance looking forward is based on
the lack of projects coming online - but looking into that further, its about the lack of high grade material such as Rutile and to a lesser extent Zircon.
Sand mining is a sweet spot that should be around for many years, but the retail stay clear due to the lack of understanding of what the products do and the opaqueness of pricing. But aussie companies are marketing themselves better than ever before to try and get a better spread of investor. Many of the sand miners are heavily weighted with insto's. Base for example is 91.5% held by the Top 20.
