I had a simular train of thought so I called and asked.. they said it took awhile because they were not 100% they were going off target so they brought in some expert from Kalgoorlie to double check.. the conclusion was there where off track and would end up 25m+ off the middle of the conductor so that's why they came back to 400m depth and started drilling from their again. hope that helps..
