    Why doesn't MHL tell us when the suspension will be lifted. When you ask for a suspension (as MHL did) you must inform the ASX when you expect the suspension will be lifted, i.e. give a date. MHL did not give this information (at least, not in their letter to the ASX).

    Doesn't this breach of the rules mean that ASX should have declined MHL's request for a suspension? ASX has not required its own rule to be followed, so far as I can see.

    This is not a trivial matter - not nit-picking on my part. Presumably the whole purpose of the rule is to give us mugs some idea of when we can get at our capital again.

    As it is we have no idea. Either a bad precedent has been set, or this is a common breach. Have any of you had experience of this sort of suspension with other companies?
