You have zero respect for the market... and to a point this isn’t a bad thing, we all make money (or at least try to) by preempting or wrong footing the market. A certain level of irreverence is necessary

But having said that, it’s a touchstone to which we all must at some point return, for at the end of the day the share price is the only measure of our performance in this game that actually matters

It’s an absurd situation, holding a stock for a decade or more, watching ones capital constantly slowly erode to the size of a pebble, all the time cackling at the stupidity and short sightedness of the market!

Conviction and willfulness. Yes ok. But also humility
