Of all the tech company listings on the ASX, this one excites me the most and in my opinion has the most potential for immediate growth. These guys actually know what they are doing, I took a look at their recent job listings and the list of tech is pretty cool. Modern UI technologies with an AWS backend, even their developer productivity tools are great but their IKEA office furniture leaves a lot to be desired.
Integration with Facebook (on top of Twitter and Instagram) has significantly increased the source of marketing material available within the SaaS platform. It wouldn't surprise me if they added further integration with Pinterest and Tumblr.
I've been doing a bit of digging these past few weeks and I'm of the opinion they have a really good chance of being taken over by another organisation with a track record of acquiring marketing companies (see Adobe or eBay). One of their advisors works for Adobe and serves on Adobe's Architectural Council.
This guy just needs to bite with the Australian market once it is relisted. But the Australian market is as useful at recognising good tech stocks as a door knob on a wall. If the rest of the market catches on, this may take off again prior to relisting. I just suspect the market doesn't really have any idea what ShareRoot does and they have to throw around words like eBay, Twitter or Facebook for people to show any interest. *Oh look a shiny!*
