This is what I was eluding to before in a previous post g12m0 - we have an idea what the resource might be but we don't really know what it actually is.

So how can anybody put a true valuation on any of these fields or the companies involved for that matter. Best guess I fear in most cases.

There will be people who have a good idea whats in those holes but as I said they are playing their cards close to the chest. It could be thousands, millions or billions who knows. The simple tenet would be to try and buy as cheap as possible and I am sure there will be manoeuvrings around this notion. Who really knows where things will end up for DLS?

I think we are getting a clue in the latest price action in DLS, but then again, without perfect knowledge it just as well might be a head fake. Such is the nature of business and the markets.
