Ann: MOD Raises $18 Million to Turbo Charge Growth, page-19

For those who have been backing MOD for a long time know that to take the Botswana project to production means raising funds along the way. This isn't a company running on hot air like some.

Raises are rarely welcomed by private investors unless they get to take part at favourable prices. However, as a long term holder I'm very pleased to have reached this exciting stage of the Botswana project and it's great to see that the raise was oversubscribed with new institutional investors taking part. They will realise that it's a very good time indeed to get on board, just as exploration is ramped up across the 12600 sq km Copperbelt.

Any new discoveries, which look highly probable rather than just possible IMO, will undoubtedly raise the eyebrows of the majors who are monitoring the project. It's a great time to be a well funded copper explorer with a great asset in a great jurisdiction.

As for 'red flags' -no, I don't go with that type of scaremongering on BBs by non holders with doubtful agendas myself. Put it this way, I'll watch where the professionals put their money and then decide my choices.
