Does anyone know of any instances of a co-operative mill operation for mining along the lines of fishing, grain handling, cotton gins etc.

If there are close by economic deposits then perhaps MKO securitise the mill... keep the capacity they need and then sell off the balance to the likes of EAR and other neighbouring deposits. 2.3mtpa plant is a huge beast to feed and I'm guessing most economic when running at capacity.
