That's why my post stated 2014/2015 for $10000/ acre valuations. I never stated AOK's landholdings were worth that much now or in the immediate future.
Important to also note that it did not appear from Sandridge's presentation that they had secured any leases in the the Thomas and Sheridan counties in NW Kansas where AOK have recently increased their acreage. So the risk IMO is probably slightly higher. Nevertheless, Vertical drilling in the 2 counties have confirmed the existence of the Mississippi Lime formation so hopefully the flow rates and oil cuts are good.
