re: Ann: Mississippi Lime Acreage Increase in... I've got my sherlock holmes mask on today, bare with me on this one.

Check out this image here from AOK's Febuary Presentation:

The Middle Circle is in Kansas, but doesn't correlate with any of AOK's announced acreage holdings.

AOK Hold acreage in the following locations in Kansas (from the quarterly):

    1. Thomas County
    2. Sheridan County
    3. Jewell County
    4. Mitchell County
    5. Ellis County
    6. Ellsworth County

I've done up an image showing these locations

The Middle Circle = ????? - It doesn't correlate to anywhere near the remaining Kansas Counties (3,4,5,6)

The Top Left Circle = Sheridan and Thomas Counties (Colby and Cooper projects)

The Bottom Right Circle = Kay County, Oklahoma (Snake River Project)

Notice how AOK don't include that Middle Area in the map contained in today's announcement, yet if you add up the Miss Lime holdings there is a deficit:

70% WI of 8100 acres (Cooper) = 5670 net acres
70% WI of 7400 acres (Colby) = 5180 net acres
100% of 6,000 acres (Snake River) = 6000 net acres

    Total = 16850 net acres

AOK reports that they have 22,500 net Miss Lime acres in today's announcement, resulting in a 5650 net acre deficit.

Could it be that AOK are leasing elsewhere, but haven't announced it yet?

Previously AOK reported 16,000 net Miss Lime acres. Add on 5,180 net acres and that gives you 21180 net acres. Still short of today's announcement. I'm guessing AOK are leasing an area outside of the Snake River, Colby and Cooper projects, as I doubt AOK would have been able to secure nearly 6,000 more net acres in Kay County.

It is all very mysterious to me, though most likely in a good way for AOK holders.
