1) Magna is a New York based investment firm that has provided funds to ASX juniors and in return they are issued convertible notes. Other ASX companies that Magna has been involved with include NSL & QBL
2) Cyclops, to me, was an 'all-or-nothing' project. With assistance from Teck, MNQ attempted two drill holes to try and discover a 'Prominent Hill' style IOCG. Unfortunately, no significant copper mineralisation was detected and the story ended there
3) It is pure speculation whether MNQ is looking at the Marda Project. Some of the MNQ shareholders are assuming that Marda may be on the list due to recent appointment of Frank Terranova as chairman of MNQ. And from prior research, we know that it was FT who founded the project for SXG (now BOK). Since BOK is currently in administration, there is a chance that MNQ (with help from FT) may be able to snaffle up this advanced gold project.
It is also unknown whether management has any other gold projects up their sleeve. However, it wouldn't hurt if the Board is able to contact Dr Michael Ruane from MKO/EAR and discuss any possibilities of earn-in's or JV's. I note, however, that there may be chinese investors in EAR that are quite wary of other parties coming in.
