I know a little bit, not sure how accurate but there was a contract from the government to allow mining, the JV partners had to build a refinery, smelter and power station all on site at MM. There was a 10 year time frame agreed. This was not met so it was handed back.
DSO was not an option in the contract like it is now. Massive win for CAY to have the DSO option.
