The open pit is forecast to provide $7.6 million free cash flow over 11 months.
Current open pit mine development at Penny’s Find has reached the first 10 metres vertically with gold ore already being produced and stacked on the run-of-mine (ROM) pad ready for haulage and processing.
Very little drill and blast has been required to date, which has a positive impact on costs.
As the mining program continues, ore will be ready for haulage to the toll gold processing mill commencing in July.
Empire has contracted Kalgoorlie’s Hampton Transport Services for ore haulage.
