re: Ann: Mincor Unveils $30M PNG Gold and Cop... On face value, I don't like this deal

Appears that there will be a lack of short-term share price impetus, with the 5 year and 8 year JV earn-in agreements

Would rather have seen MCR buy something outright and with a shorter lead time to possible development

The next quarterly could be ugly reading for MCR. I'm expecting a greater loss than the previous quarter. The lower Ni price and higher AUD will hurt

Definitely a turning point in MCR's history, and confirmation that their Kambalda Ni operations are on the way out
