Morning
@Guerilla
Ellison is always going say something like that.
On the occasions that I have bought property (house), I have always said to the salesperson, "...
mate I've got no more cash other than what I've offered - I'm tapped out mate that's it not a cent left in the kitty". "
You should tell the seller that before they think about counter offering".
The seller invariably counter offers and I think, "...
hmm it's still a good price and a good location - I can see the value". And up goes my offer - never to exactly match the counter offer because then ego comes into the equation.
Always the same scenario.
Will it apply here? No idea. However, human behaviour is human behaviour - buying and selling is not a science - in my view. We all like to think we are purely rational beings when it comes to buying and selling - our behaviour suggests otherwise. Just look at the ASX on a daily basis.
Enjoy your weekend!
