That's what they told Ben Graham, value investing is out of date. Every generation sees a wave of doe-eyed star gazing speculators get sacrificed on the altar of economic reality.
It's sad but hopefully they lose what they can afford and move on with their lives/learn something.
Don't get me wrong I fully agree with renewable energy, I just think divestment and renewable re-investment needs to be done in a measured way by people with some investment savvy. Idealism and investing don't work well together.
The greater fool theory in Tesla and lithium stocks will only last until the greatest fool wakes up an realises the emperor has no clothes. Speculators never prosper long term.
