I am not buying the Tesla story, it looks more like the short of the century.
BYD auto is more likely to succeed and that could drive a lot of Li demand. Even if that story plays out (which is far from certain) it doesn't mean lithium producers will make much money if they create an oversupply and flood the market.
Just like we saw with the oil and gas producers.
I haven't been burnt at all, once the market realises oil is not $60 a barrel and should be more like $80-100 these companies will be re-rated to where they should be. It's hypothetical about what I would do at that time, if theres no investments I may just buy a second house without a mortgage.
