A good point @phillit, medical advances are exponentially increasing and the longer all the midkine IP is sat gathering dust, the more likely that it will end up being "old news" (to coin breads phrase)
Something more accurate or defined will always emerge as a leading marker or even (hope to god) we can find a cure for this horrible and ancient disease.
