My words were chosen to point out that there is no money 'up front', as you put it. Indeed none for several months - and that money comes only by means of an initial order when approval is given.

Have you never invested in companies whose hopes were dashed by recalcitrant regulatory authorities overseas? Sometimes refusal is because of corruption - the correct bribe was not paid.

Fortunately for SLA, in the UAE the "level of corruption is admirably low for a developing nation." I.e. the UAE scores 62% on the freedom from corruption stakes.

This is considerably better than Russia which scores only 25%. Not that this is of any worry to SLA.

Anyway, all this is why I wrote 'if approved' - I wondered whether 'once approved' was a bit bold on the part of SLA.
