presentation raises more questions than answers. They will go from the current 2000 tons per annum of walnuts up to 10,000 tons per annum by 2015 but will the current small EBIT of $600K for walnuts improve much? Currently they are only making an EBIT of around 30 cents a kilo for their walnuts which retail for around $20.00 a kilo in the shops in Italy. Looks like the middle man is the one making all the money!
It seems this company makes a lot more money out of onions
