Quite a canny deal by Ruane to wait for an unrelated party to fund BW back into operational status before any deal with EAR is announced. Whilst he might not be everyone's cup of tea with how slow things seem to drag on (I used to hold RWD), you can't deny that he is a shrewd operator who limits dilution of the companies he's involved with.
