re: Ann: Merlin Resource - World's highes... ok. good point. nevertheless at around $12,000,000 a ton (last i checked a while back) there are a few mass scale industries which would purchase large amounts of Re. Not sure about substitutes either. It maybe the case that lower Re prices would increase demand for the metal in some industries such as the one you mention. ie there may be applications where a cheaper and inferior substitute is currently being used. so, a drop in prices may grow the market.
