there was a lot of detail and you answered the hfo question for yourself.
batteries for storage are usually LFP or NMC. I couldn't find detail on the type from ignites website.
i wouldn't worry about contingency, it should be more reliable than previously. Looks to me from the report that some of the generators will not be used and remain on standby while the energy is replaced with solar powered/battery.
