POLISHED DIAMOND INDEX REACHES THE HIGHEST LEVEL SINCE 2016

However, the index remains 29.2% below the peak of August 2011.
On Monday, November 12, the polishedprices index stood at 121.6. One week later, on Monday, November 19, the polishedprices index stood at 122.7 – up 0.9% compared to the previous week. The overall index is 6.2% above its level of this time last year, and up 5.8% since the start of the year.
Almost all of the benchmark categories were in positive territory this past week. The Mixed 0.5 carat recorded the largest gain, climbing 3.7% compared to the previous Monday.
