Hi DD - yes that was me - did you park next to me? Everything looks good and covered the main points.
I don’t have my notes on me as I left them at the office so will update a bit more tomorrow if I missed anything
They had very strong growth in the month of December, they think January/some of Feb will be similar sales wise without much growth on the Dec figures just because it is traditionally slower but they are getting very strong sales from eastern states. Interesting Richard said the eastern states have bigger demand as the product is from WA but WA companies don’t think a product made in WA is good - strange that having a product imported is seen to be better. Anyway strong growth all round. They expect this to keep ramping up with reoccurring revenues to go exponential (add on reoccurring services). Building up designs to make it easier to install etc, renting the unit next door to do part of their production. Even got 3D printers printing some of the smaller custom parts! Also plans for international expansion but reckon it would be on the back of LIDAR or gas detection.
They have had a couple cameras damaged in the field (estimated 0.1%)- one with a shotgun but the crooks faces were caught and send to the cloud before the camera can be destroyed. They got caught by police - good case study. Saw the app on his phone and showed how easy it is to use - HD video was awesome.
He kept saying they provide a solution. CCTV is just recording and looking back while they aim to prevent break ins - big flashing light and sound scares them off. Also potential to add on additional features - heat sensors for fire etc
Big demand from construction who just hire the products when needed.
LIDAR - big potential. Not new tech but new application. Can go up to 150m between cameras. Customer trialing the product looks to be a tier 1 company in the storage industry with HQ based in Sydney & with an international presence. Will dig around to see who it could be. They approached us to provide a solution - prototype being tested. Just building some new software to make it more customer friendly. Expecting commercialisation this Q. Expecting quick ramp. Should be easy sell as they need a solution and cheaper then patrols or guards or dogs.
Gas detection, waiting for partner but again big potential. Believe this will be commercialised after LIDAR but who knows.
They had a customer (farmer) there who needed a solution and got it. Such great service and products that he bought shares and came to the meeting. That was good to hear. Their preference is to do the installations themselves and they only need one person to install a camera and pretty much just plugging in the battery was my understanding.
All in all nothing new said but good to get clarity on a few items, meet the team and see the premises. One of the key staff members Michael - young guy, motivated - looks after the service/install/training and is also a shareholder.
He’s excited.
Easy hold and will buy on any weakness
(Will reread tomorrow and correct/add anything I have missed)

Hi Barry, yep that was me, the guy with the funny scoussie accent ( half scottish, half Australian), lol
One thing that I remember is that, the customer was also a fund Manger, because when I asked Richard about the daily hire of $12 per unit and would they make the hire price inline with inflation, he replied that could be market sensitive if I reply and he pointed to the customer saying and we have a fund Manger here and don't want to give away too much, ( fund manager could be a sophisticated investor) but please don't quote me on that, could be wrong
He had a farm up north I think, wasn't paying too much attention when he and Michael were talking about batteries with Richard when we got shown around the shop floor
Forgot about Michael, Richard give him a glowing report, and yes he seemed very excited and motivated about SP3
Great summary by the way
