I do think they have more of an idea of what items are there. A lot is still in containers but some of the bigger items such as electric motors were actually in the weather or open air. It may well be that it was noted that there could be some corrosion and these types of equipment may have to be sent back to refurbish, rewind and new bearings. But otherwise much of the equipment should still be shiny.

The earth moving equipment would need full commissioning and I'm not sure how long its been sitting.
So full mechanical services to engine and drive-lines, Some tyre's (can be very expensive) may have went flat and perished? Not sure if it was all professionally decommissioned and stands put under?
Airconds and all that may need new compressors (as the seals perish when not used)  and re-gassing?
Why it was all left there has puzzled me but apparently the decision to cease activity was made before they arrived but all the freight had already been paid to the site. Obviously a great win for VEC. to get a mine site with so much professional progress and so much drilled and  DFS completed along with new equipment all packaged up on site has to be a stroke of luck for SH's.
As Simon alluded to in his recording on the 7th, there is a lot more info to come and I don't think there DFS was complete and it looks to hold some good news as I alluded to a day or so ago.
