They actually already have a pretty good coverage across Australia, in terms of total pharmacies. Looking at the last qtr's revenues, my question is, how are they going to effectively monetise their services? The App is fantastic and I actually use it myself but it's free and doesn't appear to generate very much income for the company from pharmacies. The GP push could obviously save time and money for what is an industry already under strain. Having an idea of the margins in this sector would be useful. Selling their services to companies engaging in medical trials (patient conformity), big data and customer behaviour patterns, also seems like possible avenues MDR could pursue. My gut feel is that they are on to something here, even if they can't fully delineate, right now, what the opportunity might evolve into over the next 12-24 months.
Keen to hear other views on how this might evolve in terms of monetisation.
