I guess the "good" news is mincor has been keeping (some) of its staff and utilising them to selectively mine higher grade pods, rather than sack them and place mines on C&M.
they certainly haven't been doing any capital development .....which is very rational (imho).
the comment "regional scale" for Cassini is either a teaser line - ....or hints that mincor thinks it may get substantially larger .....(there are a couple of joles to the N-W on public file (from former dirt holder) which actually had hits > 2% ....so I know that im intruiged .....).
as discusse with Siesel - its typically 8-9 weeks of supply that acts as a trigger for commodity price moves .......circa 35-45kT to "move" .......
given we are paying 15-18m for the assets that:
crap year earns 0
poor-ave year earns 20-40m in c/flows
good year 100+m in cashflows
and we know (or think we know) that it wont go broke
looks like a lower risk, high(er) retrun play in my eyes .....

Hi V_H
MCR is very exciting longer term and if we do see Ni price recover we have this:
CASSINI:
This target covers only the 430 metre plunge length drilled so far
Very high additional prospectivity down- plunge and along strike
Conceptual scoping study demonstrates low start-up capex
Utilisation of nearby Redross Mine surface infrastructure
Strong potential economic returns at forecast nickel prices
REPUBLICAN HILL:
Exciting new exploration target
Cassinilook-alike
Strikingcoincidence of:
– Nickel in soils
– Interpreted channel locations in
basal contact
– Magnetic high along basal contact.
IMO, MCR is extremely well positioned to rebound if Nickel stocks drop and Ni prices recover based on its existing production capability.
When you add Cassini and Rebublican Hill, we start to see a company that should do very well in the future.
As we all know its all about ni inventory, demand and falling supply which must ultimately lead to a ni price rebound.
Cheers
