You are quite correct - that is definitely not an obvious option to me, nor a likely one.

Were I Glencore I'd develop my own reserves either in the underground at Hail Creek or the open cut at the Elphinstone part of the Hail Creek lease (<13 km distant) well before I'd bother even considering Hillalong. And even if I wanted more tonnes, I'd collaborate with one of the closer projects (e.g. U&D's Broughton adjoining south to Hail Creek across the highway or Shandong Energy's Hillalong open cut and underground Project which is between BCB's Hillalong and Hail Creek - both much closer than BCB's Hillalong).
