The following is a question that could possibly best be answered by someone in the USA...
Does anyone know what the likely timeframe is for completion of the Ann Mason PFS ?
Surely some news on this must be just around the corner. It's been going on for quite a long time. After tracking back through past announcements, it seems that the only thing (or at least the main thing) currently holding this up is final approval of the EA (environmental assessment) by the US Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The additional vegetation survey they requested late in the process was also completed and submitted to them quite a while ago. As it appears (based on the published photos of the Ann Mason area) to be mainly desert country, with very little vegetation, you wouldn't think it would take very long to put a rubber stamp on the paperwork ! This is especially true when you consider the enormous amount of exploration and mining that has already been conducted in the Yerington / Ann Mason area over many decades...
Rgds to all, W.
