IMO, it was kind of technique that big boys are playing to put market depth under pressure. they put 5M shares in 0.01c to don't allow sellers to put their order in higher price. so you need to sell ur parcel in lower prices. it was done before MOU Ann, probably they know the Ann on the way for weeks.
second phase of game is started, making sell side heavy and don't allow someone think about buy. I think Mr market wanna takes SP close to where GEMC is, Cad 6.5c close to AUD 6.8c. so that's why wolfs are waiting in 7c.
