Excellent to see HYO are keeping the market fully informed of their current situation.
As respect to this comment: The Board considers that in light of the 2008 group results and in light of current economic conditions, the carrying values of intangible assets have been impaired. As a result, a significant impairment charge, in the process of being unquantified, will be recorded for 2008. I am expecting a full year loss for the company in excess of $10million.
Great to see they have closed China, re-organised HK and NZ. I do not expect the business to settle for the next three months in which time I would expect we will see a much clearer picture of it's future potential.
The only unresolved matter at the moment is whether Directors are going to keep taking money out of the company. In the Sept.'08 quarter they took $817,000 ($247,000 in Directors fees and $570,000 in payments to Companies Associated with Directors) and in the Dec.'08 quarter they took $402,000 ($169,168 in Directors fees and $232,276 in payments to Companies Associated with Directors), so in the last three months directors have taken 1,219,000 out of the company.
One more good sign is the following: Over the last few months, Hyro has enjoyed strong levels of enquiry from both existing and new customers and has been successful in a number of bids and proposals which supports what the indicators are suggesting. The Board and Management of Hyro are confident that a combination of the significant changes made to the business in 2008 and the expected market conditions for digital services in 2009 provide a platform for the delivery of improved operating results in 2009.
With the 107,000,000 shares coming onto the market over the next few months the valuation of the company on an EPS basis will fall, pinning it to around six cents.
Regards.
