Six or more years ago, VMoto was focused almost entirely on international sales with high margins being the driver. I seem to recall that they even had a design studio in Spain and an engineering office in Germany.
Then along came the Power Eagle deal and the focus was on China sales because of high volumes combined with the ability to sell higher margin prestige Vmoto branded scooters through their own boutique stores across China. International sales, they said, were not of interest because of poor volumes.
Now they have dumped Power Eagle and are reverting their entire focus back to International sales.
Why is it going to be different this time around?
