Morley, I enjoys reading your previous posts and have high appreciation for your views and analysis. This is probably #1 on my high risk holdings due to all the reasons mentioned on this forum members and the worst part is the poor communication. BUT The company is struggling through a major change in their business focus which might kill it they do not succeed in the near future.. I also spoke with DM to get a feel of why they so poorly perform on communication. Disclaimer -the following is my interpretation and analysis and not their formal feedback. It is worthwhile noting that the focus of the business is on projects (Like Malaysia) which serve national security and LEA which for many other private and public companies tend to veto or screen to communication coming from the vendor as in their view it may compromise national security. This is also indicated on several Malay news sites such as:
"....National Foreigners Enforcement and Registration System, linked up with the Malaysian Police?s biometric database, called the Biometric Fingerprint Identification System."
So that might be a good excuse and of course it would be preferable to learn about results and not explanations. I also think there is a chance we will not get a full disclosure of the agreement details when time (hopefully) comes but the most important thing is what will be in NBS bank account.
It looks likely that such a solution (NERS) will be in place by 1/6 (move from pilot to production) and I can only hope this is NBS as otherwise this is a matter for ASIC investigation. next 2 months will make or break this business.
