In the past year we have completed capital upgrades for de-bottlenecking the front end of the plant, introducing a High Density Slurry circuit for the neutralisation area, adding a 6th autoclave and second flash vessel in the nickel reduction area and in-pit tailings disposal.

However I have just read the new ore body wont be processed until Q2.

Murrin Murrin East ore will be blended with other run-of-mine ore, lifting the processed grade to an expected range of 1.25%-1.3% nickel in 2011. The new orebody should improve the delivered grade of nickel to the plant over at least the next five years.
