Its really a chicken and egg situation They could quote margins now but really irrelevant until they can show economies of scale instead of current short production runs I feel .
The first batch of Model Ts ran at a loss , Henry did not know he would end up selling millions of them, hard to forecast future demand for anything and therefore average margin - could be competitors , new tech etc
The fact ABV did not allow inferior components to go into the market should be looked at as a positive
Yes you would think that there would be a case for linfox to have the trucks taking diesel to Fortesque mines having SIBS brakes , and from memory there are around 200 Linfox road trains that leave Perth for the Pilbara each day , mind you not many hills enroute and its all paved to Pt Headland
Micheal Hogg use to be/is in charge of linfox operations up there wonder if he could give an insite ?
