I was being a bit facetious with my comment on plastic brakes. i think it is only the caliper and as you no doubt know teddy there are some pretty cool engineering plastics. they are putting carbon nanotubes in plastic too.

anyhow, i am still disappointed because this new brake is just another new project, which will probably be developed (slowly) with their local university, will be a 1 or 2 year final year project and then will need to be redesigned for production. it's gonna take them ages the way they develop anything....
